BOC for barbershops
A barbershop mixes a booked chair and a walk-in. BOC keeps both on the same cashier and the same calendar, with each barber’s permission limited to the work they do.
The chair and the walk-in
The morning book is the calendar. Staff put a visit on an open chair. A person who walks in without a booking is not invented as a morning appointment. They are taken at the cashier as a walk-in, with due, paid, and remaining. Cash, card, and wallet stay separate, so the drawer at closing is the cash and not the card slips. A paused visit can be filtered and put back on the book.
Each barber does not need the whole shop. Roles decide who opens the calendar, the cashier, the files, and settings, and a person can be limited to a branch. Product on the shelf is inventory for that branch. Selling it at the cashier reduces the quantity. A client move to another branch reviews upcoming visits and only moves a visit when the other branch can take that time. There is no page where a client books the chair themselves.
Daily problems
Walk-ins live on a pad
A walk-in is taken at the cashier. The visit is not a slip beside the book.
Every barber sees the whole shop
Roles open only the screens that person should use, and can limit them to a branch.
The other shop is promised the same hour
A client move checks whether the destination can take the visit. If it cannot, the visit needs another time.

- Team Management Roles and branch limits decide what each barber opens.
- Inventory & Sales Retail quantity is per branch and falls when the cashier sells it.
