BOC for physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a series of return visits and a plan that has to be in the room. BOC enrolls the series, keeps the plan on the file, and books the next visit before the client leaves.
The return visit
A course can be a package: sessions, a price, an expiry, and a rule for cancellation that keeps or forfeits the session. Staff enroll the client and book the next session on an open time. The booking is a visit on the calendar. It is not a tally on the file jacket, and it is not a link the client uses alone. The doctor room shows that visit as waiting, in room, or done, and the note stays with the visit. The room does not collect the fee.
The client file holds the plan notes, the visits, and the balances. Photos and PDFs stay on that file and leave with the all-time export as the real files. If the practice bills an insurer, the policy sits on the file and a collection is one company, not more than the open balance. The client’s own payment stays at the cashier as due, paid, and remaining. Insurance can stay off when the practice does not use it.

Questions
Can a client book the next session online?
No. Staff book it before the client leaves, or later from the remaining sessions.
Does the room take the fee?
No. The cashier shows due, paid, and remaining.
Do I have to use insurance?
No. Leave it off. Turn it on only when a policy is on the file.
What does cancellation do to a session?
The package rule either keeps the session or forfeits it.
Are the plan files real files on export?
Yes. The all-time export puts the actual images, PDFs, and signatures in the customer folder.
